OUR TOP 5 HIGHLIGHT HIKES

Our hikes are spread over five different mountain ranges in the local area. There is something for everyone, from enjoyable flat paths on the Mieming Plateau to high alpine trails and rugged terrain in the Sellrain Valley. The hiking areas are very different but they all provide a wonderful alpine experience throughout.

THE NORDKETTE PATH OF PERSPECTIVES

The start of the Nordkette Path of Perspectives (Perspektivenweg) designed by Snøhetta is located a short way from the mountain lift station of the Seegrubenbahn cable car, which was designed in the mid-twentieth century by architect Franz Baumann as the perfect interplay between nature and technology.

THE ZIRBENWEG TRAIL ON PATSCHERKOFEL

A wonderful hiking trail located 2,000 metres above sea level that leads through one of Europe's largest stone pine forests. The Zirbenweg trail is a popular hike that is widely renowned and always an uplifting experience. Located above Innsbruck, the hike covers part of the Adlerweg trail (the Eagle's Way) from the top of the lift at Patscherkofel to the Tulfeinalm mountain hut (Tulfes). You can get to the start of the hike by taking the Patscherkofelbahn lift up to an altitude of 1,952 metres above sea level.

HIKE AND SAVOUR ON THE MIEMING PLATEAU

A hike through the Fiechter Valley, past traditional chapels and wayside crosses to the charming little village of Wildermieming. There, you are welcomed at the Hafele family's farm shop to enjoy a little taste of home-made products such as cake, jams, juices and other seasonal products. Max. 15 people per tour.

LANTERN HIKE OBERPERFUSS

The night sparkles like a fairytale and the little village of Oberperfuss in Tyrol is so peaceful it is almost surreal. The perfect place for a winter lantern hike on a clear and starry winter night. Hiking guide and storyteller Manuel Niederkircher gathers hikers around him and has plenty of interesting tales to share.
