ALPINE & URBAN
Fascination of the alpine mountains - pulsating urban space. There are hardly any cities whose proximity to the mountains seems so tangible. The interplay of diverse contrasts makes Innsbruck something special. Alpine - urban, nature - culture, history - modernity, close to home - cosmopolitan are some of these attributes of the "Capital of the Alps".
CULTURE & EVENTS
Innsbruck's event calendar impresses with its diversity. Early music, pop concerts and traditional customs meet sporting highlights. The Bergisel Ski Jumping Tournament takes place here, as does the Golden Roof Challenge. Extreme athletes make a pilgrimage to Kühtai for the Xletix Challenge. Highlights such as Christmas, Advent and New Year's Eve as well as the Promenade Concerts and the New Orleans Festival in summer round off the calendar of events.
SCHOOL & YOUTH GROUPS
School trips, study tours or excursions are a very special experience. Do you want to spend a few varied days in Innsbruck with your class? Then you've come to the right place - fun, excitement and great adventures - here you'll find the right school group offer.
SPORT & TRAINING
With the Youth Olympic Games 2012, Innsbruck is the first city in the world where the Olympic fire burned for the third time. But the Bergisel Ski Jumping as well as many other events, activities and special features also reflect Innsbruck's sporting competence. With the high-altitude performance centre Kühtai, the region has been offering athletes even better training opportunities at an altitude of over 2,000 metres for 10 years. There is a specific "sports gene" among the population, with which the region's guests should also be "infected". Both professionals and ambitious amateurs who want to expand their performance limits during varied training sessions can benefit from this special connection.
